Â
How to stack the probability of success in your favor, in any uncertain environment.
Â
Â
As I interact with members across the globe, there's no question, many are feeling the stress of (what they misattribute) to geo-political uncertainty.Â
Â
In fact, after a little probing, it quickly becomes apparent that a
substantial portion of their stress centers from an uncertainty about the current global economics and how it's impacting them.Â
Â
It's impossible to escape the constant barrage of doomsday headlines, triggering our nervous system into a sympathetic frenzy.Â
Â
Civil tensions, stock market corrections, charged political topics -- let's remember, all these news sources are doing their best to get our attention.Â
Â
And, they're definitely capturing the attention of your patients.
Â
The cheapest way to grab attention is to play on our lizard brains and incite...fear.
Â
By now, many of you may recall, that I study and actively partake in macroeconomics and investing (nerd alert! ). There's a lot I've learned over the last 2-decades as an
investor/trader and diving deep into understanding how this whole system actually works. These valuable lessons weren't free (they never are! ).
Â
Value comes at a cost worth paying.
Â
I thought I'd share with you one of the most valuable lessons I've learned (the hard way).Â
Â
I hope this lesson helps you navigate
this and any other troubled times you might encounter (personally, or in business).
Â
Here's the lesson:
Â
People mistake getting ahead with DOING more...Â
When in fact (often) it’s the ABSENCE of doing awful stupid
things.
Â
How might this apply to you (personally/business)?
Â
- Say less, listen more.
 - Be thankful (every day) for what you already have, you're blessed.
 - Don't try to make things better, unless you've got a really good reason to do so.
 - Don't make any big changes without taking a day or two to consider it carefully.
 - If you do plan to change, ask someone who's
actually done it, successfully. Don't trust confidence, trust results.
 - Never react (fast), instead act (slow).
 - Slow is fast, fast is slow.
 - Remember what's worked and keep doing that! (This creates the fly-wheel effect, I've educated you about this in previous emails. And, it's the probably the single most important
factor in your success.)
 - What you focus on, you find. Stop focusing on saving, cutting out ____, coupon clipping, etc...you'll always get what you ask for. (read this again, until you understand it).
 - If you're feeling "off" today, avoid doing anything until you can raise your vibration to a healthier level - operating on a low vibration could cost you
dearly.Â
- Quick side-note. I remember this one day Dr. Amanda exemplified what happens when you're in the wrong vibration. She knew it. Even though she's always present and happy to help animals, that day, she received some bad news about something she cares deeply about and got bit in the face by an Anatolian Shepherd! Not a coincidence IMO. Nothing against the breed, of course. She's ok, thank God...her lip will heal). This has never happened to her before.
Your energy matters, especially around animals.
