Are you building an animal chiropractic business or just a job for yourself? 

There's no better way to burn yourself out, than to build a 'job' and not a 'business.'

A business means that you've got Systems in place, to create efficiencies, alleviating some of the stress off your shoulders. More, since systems don't rely on you, if ever you plan to sell your practice, it will be much easier for a new doctor to take over.

A job relies on you for, everything. You're manually:

• Sending text reminders

• Scheduling/rescheduling/canceling all appointments.

• Doing your own paper notes or keeping track of your notes in the cloud without the help of a program like ChiroSimple (in other words, super inefficiently!)

• Responding to all your emails

• Answering the phone

• Returning voice messages

• Sending records

• Collecting outstanding payments

• Chasing money

• A Virtual Assistant. Amanda doesn't answer phone calls, doesn't need to respond to emails, never sends records, doesn't chase money, and doesn't schedule/reschedule/cancel appointments.

• Powerful Simple EHR. ChiroSimple...enough said. There's nothing better, stop looking. Sign up if you haven't already. (shameless plug, but still true)

• Stop doing house-calls if you can avoid it. Find a location and have them come to you (small animals, obviously).

• Offline Record Keeping. We built offline mode for a reason. If you have to finish your notes at night when you get back to an internet connection, you're not being efficient and your family isn't happy about this.
