🍾2023 Predictions for Animal Chiropractic & Providers...

Happy New Year Doc,

You've made it through the holidays, with 2023 only a few days away!

An interesting side-benefit of serving animal chiropractors (now, all over the world 😮🚀) is that we're able to gain a broader perspective on what's actually happening within our profession.

ChiroSimple members (at this time) span 11-countries, with well over 75,000 records generated on our platform... validation to the amazing difference you're all making.

I thought I'd share some of what we've learned with you, in hopes that you may find it valuable in planning your business strategies for 2023.

The Good Stuff:

Continued validation of last year's prediction of increasing awareness of animal chiropractic among the general population - we are definitely making progress.
Improved momentum and realized collaboration toward co-management between chiropractors and veterinarian professionals (on both sides).
More students enrolling to become certified in animal chiropractic than ever before! Class sizes continue to grow.
Certain United States have improved the "rules" to be more animal chiropractic friendly, or have at least created some momentum in that direction - a very good sign.

The Not-So-Good Stuff:

Claims against animal chiropractors (specifically against chiropractors, not vets) continue to persist.

Case Example: A chiropractor in California (not using ChiroSimple), was put on "temporary probation" without the ability to practice both human or animals until further notice while their case is under review. 100% of their income was turned-off with no reversal time in sight. This was the worst we learned about this last year - unfortunately, not the only. Our hearts go out to that provider.
Animal chiropractors continue to have voiced practicing "under the radar" for a variety of reasons, but primarily, because they're concerned about having to defend against a claim.
Prior to having ChiroSimple to accomplish ideal records, a handful of chiropractors were forced to send sub-standard notes to a requesting veterinarian (or board review committee), inaccurately representing their competency and potentially tainting the requesting-vet's/review committees' view of the standards they actually practice.
