Â
So Jiggs came in with his wonderful owners who gained ownership after the passing of his original owner. (Brenda’s mom originally owned Jiggs and his sister Maggie but when she passed away she took on both of them) He lived on a farm and apparently got into a pickle at some point because he became the recipient of
15 beebees that were most likely from the spray of a shotgun.Â
Â
His life experience would never be known based on his personality. He has no grudge at all of his past and instead lives his life with the most happy go lucky personality you’ve ever seen.Â
He is quite the pair with his sister who suffered an achilles tendon rupture after a snake bit her leg. They really have quite the perro telenovela going on.Â
Â
Because I know you want to know the story….
They were out running around and Maggie was bit. Brenda and her husband rushed her to the vet and when they returned you would not believe that Jiggs was legit standing in the driveway with a dang snake hanging from his mouth. They believe he went and had his vengeance on the creature that attacked his sister.
Incredible huh?
Â
Okay…so let’s get to the whole success story bit.Â
Jiggs came in as an animal patient of mine very early in my solo practice career and, like I mentioned above, I was unsure on what I could actually do for him. But low and behold he recovered QUICKLY! After two visits we had a new dog on our hands. He was back to living life and had a joy in his eye and that pitty
smile that you know if you’ve seen it.Â
Now he is a maintenance patient 5 years later and just coming in for tune up adjustments to continue living his country dog life.Â
We’ve worked with his sister too and had some really good success with a lot of her mobility work but we keep coming to a stopping point because you can’t fix crazy. Haha.Â
Â
He’s an absolute joy of a dog and will hopefully be starting to do some therapy work with kids in the near future.Â
