Let's be honest, it's a competitive world out there. A common oversight by business owners, is failing to properly leverage the power of Google.

Ignoring Google could mean you'll need to do a lot more heavy lifting to attract new patients. Not only is this exhausting, it robs you of time, limiting the volume of new patients scheduling... and, with a much less effort. With so many animals needing your help, why not make it easier for their owners to find you!

The easiest way to leverage the power of Google is with Reviews.

You see, Google loves promoting businesses with lots of reviews - it tells them you're relevant. So, I'm gonna teach you a simple hack to ethically get a lot of genuine reviews... and best of all, it's free.

Those of you who heed my advice will 100% reap the benefits.

THE HACK:

To get the ideal Google reviews, you'll need to ask for them. Before you can do so, let's first go through a little check-list to make sure you're ready to start.

☐ Your business is found and listed in Google Maps.
If not, first get this done here > https://www.google.com/business/

Follow the steps to get your business listed, and location/address verified (could take up to 2-weeks). Then proceed...

☐ Check back and verify you can find your business in GoogleMaps.

Once you've got both the (above) steps checked, continue below:

☐ Find your listing in GoogleMaps.

☐ Scroll down to the Review Summary and click "Write a Review"

☐ Copy the long URL (online address) from the top browser address bar. It's gonna look like a bunch of gobbledygook.

☐ Paste that long address into https://bitly.com/ to shorten it. Customize the last part of it to match your business. Keep it short! (that's the point)

☐ Email that address to yourself, so you can get it on your phone and save it somewhere easy to find (like a Notes app).

☐ When a client has a good experience, ask them if they wouldn't mind leaving you a review, and email or text (text is better) that bitly link to them with a short message, "your review would mean the world to me and helps others decide to try chiropractic for their pets too. Your review could be responsible for helping another animal! - Dr. Smith. Click here to leave your review > link"
