Hope you had a good week ,
I'm sure you can tell
I'm sending this email out a bit later than usual. That's because I've been working all weekend at a local dog event. Needless to say, I'm pretty tired!
So, I thought I'd keep this email simple and share a few fun facts about me that you
might find interesting. They're my 3 of favorite P's.
My Puppy! Yes, the doggy pictured with me above in the header is Tazzy, he's actually 12 years old, but still acts like a puppy. In fact, he can
still run 5 miles with me about once a week. I've had him since a puppy and my husband and I regard him as our first born (I'm sure you all understand).
Recently, we decided to get another Beagle, of course. Alfi is wonderful, but...
OMG!!!! Puppies are SO much work - I forgot. We're so tired. He's now 7-months, and we've been going non-stop since we got him 5-months ago. I've got a picture of him at the bottom of the email for you.
The next "P,"
is "Passion." Not many people get to wake up every single day excited to go to work - but I do. I love my job! I get to help animals every day and that fills my soul. I know you get to do the same - so, YOU'RE just as fortunate as me. It makes me feel good to know YOU'RE out there doing the same - it's really special what we do, and I'm so glad you're part of it.
The last "P," is Play. Making a point to lose yourself with your friends, by yourself or with your significant other/family is so important - I think. My husband and I often plan date-nights and day trips to leave work behind and have fun. Sometimes we're so busy we can't do that, and I'll just go
on a run. That really helps me unwind. Not to mention, does your upper back hurt you at the end of long day of animal chiropractic, too?? All that bending over (we should know better) is hard on our bodies and taking a break is essential.
Anyhow, I just thought I'd
share a little about me with you and remind you about how awesome you are for taking such great care of animals. They truly are the most innocent, beautiful creatures and they're fortunate to have your help.
