Hi ,
I'm often asked by new animal chiro graduates, "how have you built such a
successful animal chiropractic business?"
Or, more specifically, "how were you able to practice animal chiropractic full time and create enough income to justify it?"
When I
tell them the answer, I'm often surprised by their reaction - which is often the same. That reaction is, slight disappointment. Why would they be disappointed? Because my answer isn't a get-rich-quick, do this and you'll get there tomorrow, solution.
It is, however, a solution that works!
...And now, I'm going to share it with you...
Are you
ready???
Everything you do in your animal chiro business
should have the ability to
multiply the results.
Allow me to explain...
Let's take my ChiroSimple notes as my 1st example (my favorite, as you'd expect!)
Before ChiroSimple, my notes
were...well...pretty awful. I used to copy/paste and hand-type each and every note, often forgetting to update patient names and other mishaps. The busier I got, the worse my notes looked. I wasn't proud of them. I wouldn't share them with pride. In fact, I'd dread getting a records request.
By simply making the decision to replace my note-taking time with
ChiroSimple, a better tool than what I had before, all my notes look amazing, and I'm eager to send my initial reports to my patients' primary vet, which has returned too many referrals to count! Not too mention, it's really helped establish myself as the expert in my area - my notes clearly reflect that, finally!
Another example could be how I thank patients for referrals. Before I understood this multiplication factor, I used to thank patients with the warmest words in person after receiving a referral from them. But, after tracking my referrals for a couple years, I noticed I often would only get 1 referral on average from those who refer.
The next year, I used a better system/tool and it delivered (and does to this day) 3X the results!
Here's the upgrade...
I used an online company called Vistaprint to print some inexpensive logo'ed thank-you cards. When I receive a referral, that same day, I'll send them a warm message along with a coffee giftcard and. . . 2 business cards!
The message will say something like, "...your ongoing referrals mean the world to me. Thank you for being a part in helping me help more animals - you made a difference for, Bella."
In summary, have a look at
everything you're doing and the tools you're using in your practice and see if there's a way to modify/upgrade them to have the ability to create a multiplying effect - you won't believe how powerful this can be.
